A mysterious traveler arrives in a city to which he never intended to travel by what can only be described as divine intervention. He realizes that he has no choice but to listen to God's call and try to do his best to change some lives.
A man comes into the lives of an estranged family man with a gambling habit, a homeless man who has turned to alcohol to ease his pain, and two ladies of the evening, both struggling with their lifestyle choice and one of them trying to raise two daughters.

With two feuding families and a mysterious, beautiful woman, there's plenty of drama to go around. You'll need to navigate your way through the investigation surrounded by intrigue, attempted murder and family secrets.
Can you keep it all straight? I don't know, but you'll have fun trying. In the end, you'll be the ones to decide....is she a femme fetale or a heroine…..and just who is she?

Detective Smythe returns and lead us on another fantastic journey as he invites us to help him solve his current mystery....one he's dubbed...."The Case of Dutiful Delilah's Deeds". It's a cold... case from the 1920's Jazz Era that's just begging to be solved!
Lynn, a southern belle and successful inspirational novelist delivers clues to solve the mystery in a unique and charming way. She does her best to guide the guests to the correct solution as characters from her current writing project come alive to illustrate the story. At first, she’s not sure exactly where, what time period or even who her characters will be, but when she finally does, she falls in love with her characters and the audience will too.

To whom does this broken heart belong? Will it ever be mended? Perhaps the broken heart belongs to Beau Lafayette, the poor tried upon husband or maybe it belongs to his mother, Mama Lafayette, who is absolutely convinced her son’s life has been ruined by his marriage. It’s probably too obvious, but it could be Violet who has had nothing but heartache her whole entire life. Will there be a happy ending?

When Detective Smythe begins to unravel the past, he finds that Jeremiah Colton, owner of the Blessed Sky Ranch, is under attack by a sneaky, no-good, villain named Deek Darksole, the owner of Allismine Ranch. He’ll do anything and everything to make sure that Jeremiah Colton loses his ranch and more!
Just who is this mysterious, mournful cowboy and why is he so sad?
Detective Smythe returns to unravel a new mystery, to which he has discovered a personal, historical connection. An uncle has passed away and knowing his fondness for reading a good detective novel every now and again, his uncle has left him piles and piles of books from his very extensive library. Discovered amongst the musty old books is a very old, tattered and worn journal. Detective Smythe thought he knew all about hisfamily history but that was before he began reading the tattered pages. Referenced in the scribbling, he finds that he has a long lost relative and a new mystery to solve; The Mysterious Case of the Mournful Cowboy.
